The UK Prime Minister plans to press partner nations to deliver Ukraine with more advanced missile systems to hit Russian targets during a meeting in Britain on the upcoming Friday.

The prime minister will host President Zelensky alongside the so-called "group of committed partners", consisting of more than 20 of supporting nations who have committed to grant Ukraine security guarantees once a ceasefire is negotiated.

The Ukrainian leader has been appealing for weeks for further advanced missile technology from allied countries, a move that Moscow has cautions would escalate the war.

The Ukrainian president is travelling from the EU capital, where he held talks with European representatives on Thursday pursuing economic assistance.

"The single figure engaged in the ongoing war who does not want to end the war is President Putin," the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister additionally announce that 100 extra air defense systems will be supplied to Kyiv sooner than scheduled, as detailed in a multi-billion pound agreement reached between Britain and Kyiv in March.

International Support

The Ukrainian president travels after two diplomatic wins recently: the US President's move to implement further sanctions against Moscow, and European countries consenting to support a Ukrainian budget hole.

The Prime Minister is aiming to maintain the forward movement by intensifying the pressure on Moscow to pursue an end to the conflict.

The Prime Minister will encourage delegates to increase the supply of extended-range systems following an effective operation on a manufacturing site in Bryansk, the Russian Federation, using UK-provided Storm Shadow missiles.

"And his depraved assaults on young children in a nursery in recent days show that abundantly clear," he continued.

A pair of children were part of no fewer than seven fatally wounded in multiple Moscow's attacks on Ukrainian territory, which struck a nursery in the important metropolitan area the eastern city.

Budgetary Negotiations

Britain's leader will confer with Western allies on approaches for withdraw Russia's petroleum resources out of worldwide commerce.

The participants will also examine using seized Moscow funds to offer Kyiv with monetary support, though the initiative encountered a lack of political consensus and regulatory obstacles at the Brussels summit on the previous day.

Russia began its full-scale invasion of the country in early 2022. The invading forces currently controls about 20% of the country's land, including the Crimean peninsula the Russian government took control of in several years ago.
