Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy

Following a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
