The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized release, "An unusual confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of forbidden practices and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden sect.
The questline centers on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Changes
The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Additional Features
Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an unique katana alongside numerous objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
